The project for Villa BS in Castiglione di Cervia, alongside Studio Arkhaus, develops a layout not only for the interiors but also for the exteriors.
It consists of two buildings, one of which is completely built from scratch. The existing building, on which the typical features of the cottages of the Ravenna countryside have not been altered, will house the bedrooms, a cinema room, studio and services, with a double volume for the distribution part.
The new building, with a contemporary language, is annexed to the existing one through a glass volume, the entrance area of the Villa, and then presents the living spaces with lounge, TV area and kitchen.
The characterizing element of the living area is the large wooden parallelepiped, which becomes the service kitchen and bathroom container, with a full-height strip cladding.
Large windows open onto the garden, equipped with a swimming pool and all outdoor services.
